Dr. Byron V. Duvall

Dr. Duvall is a graduate of Xavier University, and Meharry Medical College. After completing a residency at Homer G. Phillips Hospital, Dr. Duvall worked in a local dental office prior to opening his own practice.

As a life-long St. Louis resident, Dr. Duvall longed for a solution to end dental disease and neglect plaguing our community.

As co-founder of GTOHF, he continues to serve the St. Louis community in dental treatment, education, and prevention. 

Dr. Derrick Frye

After leaving University City High School, Dr. Frye served as a Navy Corpsman. He later earned an associates degree in science from St. Louis Community College, a bachelor's degree from Howard University, and a dental degree from Howard University College of Dentistry.

He volunteered for overseas missions to Jamaica and Honduras.

Dr. Frye is past president of Mound City Dental Society and a co-founder of Gateway to Oral Health Foundation.

He served patients in his private dental practice until his untimely death in 2009.

Dr. Joseph Erondu

Dr. Erondu immigrated to the U.S. from Nigeria in 1976, and graduated from Washington University School of Dentistry in 1983. 

He practiced in his private St. Louis office, Family Dental Care, for several years until his untimely death in 2005.

Dr. Erondu is a co-founder of the Gateway to Oral Health Foundation.
